Masterson’s Pub , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my most recent experience at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .
Cleanliness Issues : Filthy and Abandoned
From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was immediately obvious that upkeep was not a priority at this bar . The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of decaying beverages and filthy restrooms filled the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and illness . The serving zone , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and trash that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The lavatory was in even a more revolting state — spilling over , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was fecal matter .

Instead of stepping in to resolve the damage done by her husband’s actions, she looks like she supports his behavior.
